防波套采用镀锡软圆铜线（0.10, 0.15, 0.20和0.30）经多股（16，24，36，48锭）编织成空心编织套。 
防波套套进样棒时的编织密度应符合下列规定：套径为4mm及以下者，不小于65%，4mm以上者不小于80%。 
规格如表4。

the compactness of braided wave-proof sleeves being slipped into the control rod must comply with the following requirements:when the sleeve diameter is up to 4mm, its compactness is not less than 65%, beyond 4mm is not less than 80%.
